Parkinson's Unity Walk 2005 April 16, 2005 most people across the world went to work, school or where ever they go as normal. But for around 8500 people who chose to spend the day doing something very special, this day was something that will be remembered for a very long time.  The 10th annual Parkinson's Unity Walk held in Central Park in New York City is a fund raising event with 100% of the donations going to further research for a cure for Parkinson's disease. Attending this event was an amazing experience that I'll not soon forget. While there I was able to meet many people whose lives have been impacted by Parkinson's disease either because they have the disease, or because someone they love has the disease. |
