Jack Flanders has lived with Parkinson's disease for over 17 years. He is fortunate that it has been a slow progression allowing him to work longer than most. To adjust to the demands of Parkinson's disease the Flanders family left busy city life to take up residence in a more peaceful rural setting.
Flanders lives with his wife on a farm in Northwest Florida. He also has four grown children. He has worked as a teacher and school administrator. Flanders holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in physical education, as well as a Master's degree in Education.
