In recent rodent experiments, CDNF produced positive results by preventing nerve degeneration as well as helping restore nerve function in laboratory mice.

CDNF is akin to the controversial GDNF, and may have similar potential. However, clinical trials will help us know if CDNF can reverse Parkinson's for millions awaiting a cure.
